Mopar Security Alarm & Mopar Remote Start

I am just wondering why I cannot have BOTH the Mopar Security Alarm and the Mopar Remote Start?!?! I have the Remote Start now and I would love to add the Security System, but from everything that I am reading I cant have both. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Also does anyone know where I can get the Mopar Security Alarm for my 06 from anywhere but the dealer? Confused Jparts.com has it for 02-04 but I dont know if they have changed them?

I know the dealer will install it for $$$$$ but it would not be a warrenty problem if anything went wrong.

Your other alternative would be to go to one of those aftermarket alarm installers and see what systems they have and the cost. Then you could compare and decide. Unless you know how to install it yourself.
