Sorry i'm completely editing this as i've finally figured out exactly what was ticking like a hummingbirds wings. My Timing Chain Tensioner on the left side of my motor is completely shot. I am thinking about replacing it myself due to the wait at the dealership because the snow has melted in northwest pennsyltucky and everyone is getting their snow tires off. My only real concern is that it has misfired 3 times when i stepped on the gas somewhat aggressive and i'm praying for no bent valves or timing issues. Opinions?

If I had a garage do the work I'd definitely take it back if it isn't right.

Not sure what "metal tensioner" you are talking about. The primary and secondary tensioners can't be accessed unless you remove the timing cover. Maybe the chain guide is loose? On the passenger side (US) the lower guide is tensioned by the tensioner. Maybe your tensioner is shot.

Edit: With the misfire you may have jumped timing. This could be very bad if it goes further and things start to "collide" in there.

I edited and explained myself much better lol. Tensioner is definitely shot. I don't think it jumped timing because it still runs very smooth minus the annoying tick.

Ah, That makes more sense. Not terrible to change. You'll need a few assorted gaskets and seals. Also make sure you don't drop the tensioner backing plate into the oil pan. The left side (driver side US) has a backing plate back there that may be loose when the tensioner is removed (see the link below for timing set diagram). Also, I'd check the timing marks very carefully to make sure it didn't jump a tooth. Might not run too bad at idle if it did, but might misfire at higher RPMs.

It's apart, got my gaskets and tensioner and they gave me the right side... hopefully have the correct one today or tomorrow. After looking at the diagram and a careful inspection my timing doesn't seem to be off at all :favorites13:
