MAKER OF CRD SERVICEABLE THERMOSTAT ASSEMBLIES
This is a message that is going out to all Liberty and Jeep CRD owners in other markets around the world.
It has come to my attention that the new generation V.M. Motori A428 engine also has O.E. thermostat assembly issues.
This engine is currently optional in Jeep Wranglers in Europe, and a version of which is also in the Chevrolet Colorado/GMC Canyon, (2.8L Duramax Diesel). I have been asked by a Jeep Dealer in Germany to develop a replacement thermostat assembly for the bad O.E. design.
To do this I require O.E. thermostat cores. If anyone knows where I can get some, please let me know. If anyone has a used A428 O.E. thermostat assembly, I would be willing to pay for shipping to take it off your hands. I am especially interested in thermostat cores from the U.K., Australian, South African and German markets.
