Hi to all! New to the forum.
Soooo, I have a 2012 Liberty that has 42K miles on it.
Used a different truck for work (construction) and now I need to use this Liberty for work.

The issue I am having is the really short length of the roof rails.
Can't carry 2x's or sheetrock safely as the crossbars are too close together for adequate and safe transport.

Any suggestions because I can't find a rack system to serve my needs and I've looked all over the internet.
Thanks in advance!

Contact AtTheHelm at www.ATHFab.com. He has a KK specific roof rack design that is an order of magnitude better than stock.

Perhaps a full size pickup bed converted to a trailer would be easier if you could find a decent one on Craigslist list or something. I picked one up years ago for $600 after selling my truck. It has come in handy many times and can carry a load far greater (and safer) than you'll ever get on the roof of your jeep.

Appreciate the advice from all.
As a follow up, what can I do about the antenna which sticks up way too high.
