Lift Points for Jack Stands

I do all the oil changes and maintenance on mine and my gf's car. I am curious as to where the best points to plat jackstands under the front end are for oil changes. Its a heavy car and makes me a bit nervous when oil time comes.

It seems under the front end that there is not same place on either side to put a stand. Help!

Makes sense now that I think back to when I did the first two times. Question now its, where do you get the jack to lift there evenly. When I put my jack under I can only get in so far before I wont be able to pump it to get lift. It seems from the pics that the stands are right at the back of the oil pan area.
