liberty makes grinding noise when put in park...intermittent problem

Once every week or two I will place my liberty in park and it would make a grinding noise and go away when taken out of park. I have no idea what it can be.

2003 Liberty 3.7L V6, auto 4x4. 120,000 miles

Please, any help I can get to get fixed before it because a real problem would be nice. It's our main vehicle. Thank you

Start simple check the linkage almost sounds like it's not really go into park all the way.
