Liberty 3.7 question

Hello. I recently acquired an 06 liberty that needed to be put back together and ran into a weird situation. This is my first experience with jeeps so engines are new to me. I found a port behind the driver side valve cover near the ground strap that is blowing air out. It is only on that side and not the other so wondering if something gets connected to it.

That’s where the EGR valve should be. Is that also a disconnected electrical connector I see in the photo? Also probably goes to the EGR.

Hmmmm trying to see on the parts list to order but not finding for 05-06

It might’ve gone there and the previous owner had a ground strap placed there
