Here is our Frankenlifted 2004 KJ Sport with a little clevis lift and two extra rear ISO's on top of rear coil springs and Al's "A" Arms up front.

Stuffed with 245-75-16 Goodyear M/T R Kevlar tires.
They are not as loud as I thought that they would be!
They only rub a little at full lock when the wheels are turned to the right only.
But thats it, nowhere else while driving!

This weekend the Backbone/winch gets installed along with a Factory fog light kit and other offroad lights.

Then the Mopar skids... When they arrive!

Cheers
Ry' & Jen

That lift & tire combo/A-Arms really will work well for you.
Keep up the good work!
Once the skids and winch are on..time to get muddy.....
Look forward to more photos then....

Thanks everyone.

I did get it aligned and it handles great.
I put the wheel spacers on last night as well, they fill out the wheel wells a bit more and look really good.
The handling with them is really sweet right now, I've run 1.5 inch wheel spacers on my mini for 26 years and I'm still on the same wheel bearings, so I don't think it will be a problem with the kj... We will see Eh?

To think, I have not even pounded down the pinch weld and no rubbing there or the fog light doors without the wheel spacers... Yet!
I'm sure I'll have too before I really lay the boots to 'er off road though!
Front windows will get tinted as soon as other stuff is added. I'd rather use the $100.00 or so towards at least a rear ARB locker first.
First it must and will function, then esthetic's will get done.

I've been painting the Backbone today and had hoped to install it this weekend...
But, Doctors orders dictate that I take it easy for the next week due to health!
#$%^$#$% SH T, $%##$%. AAARRRGGG!
My bloods INR is all over the map! So, easy peasy for now!
*****!
I think I'll wash and wax the truck at least this weekend with Jen (Who has been absolutely helpful installing the lift ans she put on the wheel spacers! I know, no biggy really, but for a young lady who has never done any car related stuff, she is very pleased with her handy work! Hey, she had to start somewhere!)

Here is an idea of the things to be added over time. Not all necessarily in this order.

1. New muffler soon
2. New rotors and pads
3. Skids-when they show up!
4. Re-gear front and rear diff's
5. Lockers
6. Additional armor
7. Mount the CB I already have.
8. Install the custom gauge pod I made for oil pres, oil and trans fluid temp, volt meter.
70% complete.
9. Custom Ryan made snorkel. 50% complete.
10. Roof top light bar... Not sure about this yet though!
11. Additional back up lighting permanently installed instead of the magnetic mounts
I've been using.
12. Additional interior lighting for rear seating area as well as foot well lights.

That should hold me over for the next little while!

Cheers

Ryan the KJ is looking good. And the fact that the wife is helping (hopefully enjoying herself) sounds good too.

I'm lifting mine (w/ Als arms) this winter.
