Has anyone tried this series of gauges in a KJ?
I'm looking at installing a set of these in my CRD. I want something to tell me what's actually going on with that diesel, not 23 frakkin idiot lights in the dash cluster (I counted them).
Feature I like about this gauge series is that it has a CPU module that mounts under the hood, to which you route all your sensors. From there, it's only a 3 wire harness that runs thru the firewall, to which you can daisy-chain upwards of 17 gauges.
Feature I don't like is the price - for the CPU module and 5 gauges (EGT, Boost, Oil Pressure, ****** Temp, Voltmeter), we're talking upwards of $800.
I talked with Mike Lipska at Isspro, and he said he knew of at least 2 CRD's running around with a set of these gauges installed. Just wondering if anyone here has tried them and what they thought of them.
