Ok i have a sima spv1 140 watt power inverter. I have the 15 amp fuse in the converter. When i plug it in, the 20 amp cig outlit fuse blows. The second I plus it in the cig fuse blows, but the inverter one does not. Any ideas?

I'm guessing that there's something else on the same fuse as the cigarette lighter?

I had an old car where the horn was on the cigarette lighter fuse, can't imagine that draws much, but it's possible. If you can, check the schematics and see

Do you have something plugged into the inverter, when you plug it into the car? If not, it sounds like the inverter is bad. Could be a short in the inverter.
