Interior Question 2005/2003

Hey all...

I am probably going to be picking up a 2003 Liberty Limited that has the light color cloth interior and light colored dashboard. I had purchased some light gray(# Color: Gray# Trim Code: DLJ1 ) leather seats and inner door panels from a 2005 Liberty and would love to put them in. The seats are at my friends house in Atlanta so I dont have access to see them right now. Did they use that same color combination in 2003 and is the carpet on the back of the rear seats of the 2005 the same color of the carpet used in the 2003? I'm not going to buy the Jeep if its not going to match.

They will not be the same color. Sounds like you're going to put the gray seats in a Tan colored interior...

I couldn't tell if the seats were tan or gray.....so x2 on what you said Marlon....

Yeah the seats are a light grey but I wasnt sure if the carpet would be the same color or not.
I asked my buddy to snap a pic later and send it to me.. I'll post that and get some opinions. I had thought the carpet was the same color but maybe I'm wrong.

I've seen pics of Blake's interior and it's called Light Gray Stone....mine's the same.

Oh no, I know Dark Slate. I've had 2 Dark Slate colored Jeeps and that ain't Dark Slate Gray.

There are like 100 different greys in this interior.

BTW, those seats are, for me, uncomfortable compared to other Liberty seats.
