I know I read that this happened to someone else somewhere in here - driving to work this morning, my overhead lights came on for a minute then went off, for no apparent reason.

I've made an appointment with the dealer for Monday cause I still have warranty left (now at 86000 km - 53000 mi). Anyone know what causes this? Faulty door switch? Control module somewhere? Cause if they're not gonna warranty it I can probably do it myself.

It's the infamous "Multifunction Stalk TSB". A delaer around my area will want about $150.00 to fix it. I just turned the intensity on the interior/instrument panel lights back two clicks and it almost never flickered again. I could be wrong, and if they will look at for free go for it.

Took the Liberty into the dealer. Technician said they would have a look, so I asked if this was covered by warranty, he said it would be if they found the fault. So I asked what it would cost if they could not replicate the problem, he said it would be about 80 bucks and he wouldn't be that they would and that I'd be safer to wait for it to occur consistently, then bring it in.

So I drove away. It hasn't happened since last week so I'll take my chances for now. I'll be on the road solid for the next month so we'll see what happens...
