Have a 2008 Liberty LTD. I have checked the coolant level (it's good), no bad fuses and I have no heat/air regardless of which setting. However, I do hear some noise between the dash and glovebox when I try and adjust the strength of the air output. I also have a "Error" displaying in place of the odometer. I seen some other threads that were similar however none of them stated anything about being able to hear noise nor the error code in place of the odometer. Any thoughts??? Any help appreciated.

I had an issue like that with my 2006 CRD, and it was the a bad relay from the AC.

Do you have frozen line of the AC in the engine compartment ? With me when the engine was cold everything worked fine, after a few minutes, no more heat or air that came in ..
