hard starting after engine warms up

05 Liberty 3.7 112K starts right away on the initial start up of the day, after driving for 20-30 minutes and shutting car down for a few minutes it now is hard to start. Cranks and sometimes sounds like it wants to start but doesn't or just cranks with no sound of starting. After a few attempts 2-3 car will usually start and run with no problems.
Recent full tune up, plugs filters etc. Changed crank sensor no change. I think it might be fuel but waiting to get pressure gauge to test pump.
Haven't seen anyone post results with problems found for similar posts has anyone got any answers that might help. Thanks

How does alternator or Battery affect starting when engine is hot? Cranks hard with no problems, just doesn't want to fire right away. I think fuel or spark is the issue. Leaning more to fuel because starts after a few minutes of cranking. Kind of indicates a lack of fuel reaching the injectors, possible fuel pump problem or bad fuel regulator.
What makes you think alternator or battery? Open to all ideas

From your description, with a bad alternator, your battery voltage will drop instead of being floated while driving/idling, dropping to a point when there is not enough charge to crank your engine.

Could just go to a LAPS to check your battery and alternator.

Any current stored trouble codes?
I would like to see a fuel pressure reading from the schrader valve on fuel rail.
ASD relay..hmmm.
What brand of crank sensor did you install? What code was coming up then?
