I have found a few threads but didn't want to hijack with my specific scenario. I have an 06 KJ that won't start. It will crank. When I turn the key to On, I do not hear the fuel pump prime at all. I have tried to swap the relays for ASD and Fuel for working ones (from another thread). It sounds a little bit different when I crank it, like there is some fuel but not enough maybe? I do not hear the pump prime.
Is there anything else I can check to try and find out what is going on with this damn vehicle?

Thanks

I would try to prime the fuel by putting the key in the on position maybe 10 times with the new relay. If it still doesnt start it may be the fuel pump or filter or injectors etc. a fuel pressure gauge would narrow it down, harbor freight has them for $20.

I can confirm that there is no spin up noise for the fuel pump. I do know that as late as this morning (took it to the store and home, started it twice with no issues) I have been able to hear it prime. Short of dropping the tank, is there any way to confirm that the pump is functional?

Most of the time I never hear mine spin up, unless it has sat for days LOL.
You really need to connect a fuel pressure gauge to read what pressure is available from rail.
