Front outer fender panel

Is the front outer panel really just held in by bolts? I see bolts around it and just want to make sure before I ruin the piece taking it off.

Check the bolts, but I am 99% sure they are fake and cosmetic only. The fender flares clip into holes in the metal fender from the back. You’ll likely break plastic clips removing them, but fender clips are available on Amazon for cheap.

Not the plastic fender flares, I'm talking about the metal fender panel itself.

7 bolts in total.
3 on top.
3 on the door side, 1 is under the rocker molding 05-07.
1 on the front lower under the bumper skin.
