This quote was taken from the first Four Peaks cleanup effort, held in Feb of 2008, says it all...

"If you ever enjoy the outdoors for hiking, mountain biking, 4-wheeling, hunting or shooting, then you have probably shaken your head in disgust when others dump trash at trailheads and across our deserts".

That quote still holds true, so I'd like to invite all outdoor enthusiast, no matter how you use and enjoy our public lands, to come out on Feb 6, 2010 to help clean up a huge mess some Yahoos saw fit to leave behind again during the past year. The area we'll be cleaning up is the Four Peaks and Sycamore area just off Hwy 87, northeast of Phoenix.

If you have the time as an individual, as a group of friends, or as a club, you're help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Click on the poster below which will take you to a blog about this year's cleanup. There are pictures of how the area looks this year, and some at the bottom of the page showing how it looked last year....
