First Jeep Liberty, First Question on this board

Hey everybody, I just got my '05 Jeep Liberty Sport on Saturday and thought it would be good to become part of a Liberty community.
I also have a question. As you can see from my pic of the new rig, I have the plastic bumper. Is it still possible to install this grill guard to it?

u might need to find something specific for the 05
im sure the mounting points are still the same w/ previous versions, but I think you might run into problems with the way the new bumpers are shaped.

I am guessing those little "doors" open up on your bumper
and you will be able to mount it right up.
How wide are those 2 little covers? I can go measure my brushguard to see if it would fit.

didnt have a measuring stick on me, but there about 4-5 inches i think
