Exhaust Manifold Removal

What's the odds the exhaust manifold bolts are going to thread out of the heads without twisting off ? I removed one bolt & exerted as much pressure on the next one as I felt safe & it didn't break loose .
Someone here has surely been there , done that .

Try again with engine as hot as possible, as soon as you shut it off. Long sleeves and hi-temp gloves are a good idea. If you can get to them with any sort of impact tool, either air, electric, or hammer impact, they always turn better than just with hand pressure.
