exhaust blow?

hi i just fitted a whole new exhaust system on 2006 jeep liberty 2.8crd, but im getting a hollow blowing sound ive checked the joints at the back box and where head pipe bolts to turbo and cant feel or hear any blowing , when sitting in car it sounds like its coming from behind the firewall and if i stick my head out of drivers side window i can smell exhaust fumes , but not in the car while driving ,its worse on tick over and at low revs seems to quieten down once revs are up , any suggestions ? cheers.

Check around the flexible coupling, a new one shouldn't leak but worth checking.
