We had an unusual full double rainbow, intact from end to end.

Wow, is that wide angle lens or just stitched together? Great looking picture!

Yeah, that's a sweet shot. I am considering telephoto as opposed to wideangle. I rather just stitch together, but I cannot zoom enough! Check out my moon shots.

That's my driveway. If I had been standing on something a little higher in the first picture you would be able to see downtown Tucson.

Nice moon pics hyedipin! Especially that first crescent.

Your driveway? Don't the critters come visit you in the house ? It looks as if you live in the middle of the desert?

Thanks. I am planning to get telephoto for the Sony H5 to shoot a bit closer. It has 36-432mm equivalent Optical, just need to add a bit more to it.

Nice pics both of you. Huseyin, I see you're finally getting the hang of those moon shots; what kind of shutter speed were you using on those?

Russ, that last one is really nice. So how far west of Tucson do you live?

So how far west of Tucson do you live?

I'm just off Silverbell, between Grant and Ruthrauff.

And yes, we do get critters in the neighborhood. Used to get a rattlesnake a year or so in the yard, but I haven't seen any for two or three years now. Bunnies, birds, coyotes, javelinas, tarantulas, the usual.

I keep shutter fast, otherwise it becomes over exposed and just a white ball.

ExposureTime - 1/1000 seconds
FNumber - 3.50
ExposureProgram - Manual control
ISOSpeedRatings - 200
