Dashcam & Cigarette Lighter

I bought a dashcam that uses the cigarette lighter as its power source and was wanting to know if I could leave it plugged in when the car is off. The dashcam has parking mode so I was worried about it draining the battery since other chargers that used the outlet would always have a light on suggesting it’s always powered. I have a 2005 Jeep Liberty.

I don't really know, but you can check with a clamp tester how many amps it is consuming

The front plug is always powered… so the question would be answered when you find out the draw as Blackhawk suggested.
