Cool but rather exspensive vehicle recovery gear.

Great idea. The best part is that it would be super easy to make for super cheap

why?
really?
buy a hitch pin and use that through the loop end of the strap
or loop around receiver strap over hitch and around the front side then out from the bottom
break strap or remove hitch but nothing else to break ,pins ,shackles ,Ect.

If you buy a receiver without a BALL on it, then, you have a hole that is almost big enough to put a decent size tow hook through, right? If not, Drill or Torch it out bigger... $170.00 for that, -vs- 35.00 for a receiver with a HOLE in it...

Definitley the OVERKILL item of the year.

I'm with POWERSLAVE.

1 Good reciver minus the ball.
1 Good "D" shackle

You should ALREADY have the strap - doesn't everybody?

Put the remaining $100 towards a front mounted reciever so you can pull from either end (I don't get stuck :D)
