Back in the late 50's & early 60's some pretty cool looking Willy's were produced.
The forward cabs were quite interesting and today they are fairly rare.
Here are some images I gathered, fleet van etc..feel free to post any of your FC photos & Stories.

... could you take a FC, extend the frame, and turn it into a car hauler?

When I was a kid, the neighbors had a FC (very much like the OD Green one above) that they were building into a camper -basically an overlander long, long before overlanding was even a thing-

It was crushed when an huge old maple tree fell on it during a storm.:icon_cry:

That's when I started, and I can still produce it today. :happy175:
