Buying a used KJ....Would you buy an 02, 03 or 04 and why?

LOVE my 02

But my CD changer is in the rear vs. in the dash. My leather seats are a different style vs. newer models and there is no passenger oh sh*t handle. LOVE the original center console design vs. the newer one. And the newer gauges suck too.

Personally, I'd get an early 03 3.7L V6 with the 45RFE ******, the disc brakes all around, tow package, and select trac transfer case. Any other options you find are just gravy. =P~

I almost forgot to mention if you find the off road group also, you save yourself some upgrades.

Make sure you get an '03 .............. disc brakes are much better ........ and if you can find one with ABS, that's even better!
