busted front left strut... need some advice!!
the other day I went to work and had to take a dirt road (in very bad shape), I started to hear a loud metal noise. So I took out the tire and it was the front shock (strut) that broke. I had installed a skyjacker lift kit, so I'm trying to replace both struts, any suggestion? I was looking for rancho struts, will they work with the skyjacker springs? which ones do you recommend?
the guy that's helping me buy them in the US told me that he read that these struts (rancho) needed the stock springs, is this correct? but what about the inches of lift, will the strut keep them? thanks!!
