The latch that seems to be glued to the glass has started to peel away. So about an inch of the latch has separated. What do I use to glue it back down? Do I have to have it done by the dealership?

Never heard of this happening before. Corrosion problem?
Personally I would consult with an auto glass shop.
I know they used a 2 part epoxy when my defogger connector started to separate.
What ever they used hardened like the dickens to the glass.

I figured that the glue to use was Gorilla glue. They make one like super glue. Kinda figured it would and it has so far.
