2006 Liberty Sport; 2 nights ago I was and about and someone told me that I had a headlight out and I did low beam left side. Checked the brights and both worked so I drove home. Next day went and bought a new headlight and put it in. Now it gets interesting if thats what you want to call it. Now I have no low beam on right side;only on the left side. When I turn the brights on I have high beam on the right side and nothing on the left side. Multifunction switch?

Unlikely to be a ground problem as the ground is common to high beam and low beam. That said though, bad grounds can cause weird problems. Temoparily add an additional ground to the ground wires on the lamps...take the ground direct to the chassis and see what happens.
My circuit diagram for 2002 KJs shows that fuses 5,4,27,26 in the Junction block are relevant as regards front lights but you need to find a circuit diagram for your model year to work with.
There are also low beam and high beam relays you can swap around to see what happens. The multifunction switch basically activates the different relays.

All fuses are good;only have high beam relay in junction box and it's O.K. Another strange thing when lights are turned to high beam and I pull the lever to flash them both come on and when on low beam they won't.

FOUND IT!!! Lower drivers side there is a connector just happened to move and lights came on. Red locking clip was out just a little bit;pushed connector together and made sure clip was in all the way and everthing is working. Now I have two extra bulbs but thats O.K. Thanks for the help!
