Got to Air filter replacement today and ...:emotions34:
You can see the Napa Gold is brown and next to it is possibly a Fram , which is white.
I just think it is so much easier to see the stains /dirt on a white based filter compared to a brown one.
This makes it easier to know if you need to replace the air filter.
What other filters are white that you might use?
Is there a reason why Napa's are brown any reason to use them over a white one?

Also I noticed Mr Sponge Bob was oily. I was going to boil him, but I thought that would be cruel..:happy175:

I gave him a bath in fantastic scrubbing bubbles cleaner & the oil gushed out, then a water rinse.
Much cleaner now before install of the new air filter.

I have been using the Napa Gold filter also. I usually just change the air filter once a year and clean out "sponge bob" when I change the filter. Also change the pcv at the same time.

Spongebob began to disintegrate when I washed him. So I put him back together best I could and shoved him back. Might get a new one eventually.

Is that Purolator white HJ?
Of course I'm wondering since napa's oil filter are wix.. who makes their air filters now.
I think we need to find a good review on air filters/ micron filtration specs.

I did a quick check on the web and there really is not a lot of testing on air filters.
If you have something interesting to post go for it!
The Napa does well in this test:
