Hello I have a 2004 Jeep Liberty 3.7 v6 4x4 and just recently started to leak by the oil filter. There looks like a plastic spout by the filter and oil is making it's way down the spout.. What could cause this? Could this be a bad oil pressure switch leaking? Any advice would be great..

Without seeing it, I would guess it is the oil pressure sensor. The sensor is just above the oil filter. I would also check your vavle cover gaskets, and your power steering hoses since they are also known to leak and show oil in the same area.

clean the oil off your rubber bushings at your rack and pinion too, don't need those rotting out.
