Those are not built in roll bars in the roof. Im under the impression that all vehicles are required by law to have them weather it's built into the windshield frame or the piller. May not be a full round bar but still a anti crush frame work. so in a roll the roof will not collapse. This was a big issue back when we were made to stop making convertibles till we could prove the windshield frame would support the vehicle in a roll. I was in on the testing back then. So all vehicles have a roll cage. So yes it has a roll cage.

The KJ's A pillars are not strong enough to support the weight by themselves, add the windshield and it is.The windshield is a structural part of the KJ so does that make the windshield a rollbar?
