Not sure what it is. Thought maybe lifter or tappet(?) or exhaust leak or the transmission and/or engine? Goes away intermittently. Gets faster when accelerating whether on the road or parked in Neutral. Link to video below. Clicking stops at 0:04 seconds and starts again at 0:10 seconds. Then off again at 0:24 seconds and starts again about 0:30 seconds and so on.

I noticed what appears to be some of a gasket missing (starting at 0:06 seconds in and flashlight follows up to 0:18 seconds) and I can see a part rotating inside.

Perspective: I slid under the driver side door and slightly turned so the top of my head is facing the front bumper. The O2 sensor seen is the driver side Bank 1 Sensor 1 upstream.

Oil level is seems fine (I add half a quart every few weeks to keep in the safe zone. There are no obvious leaks and no puddles under the vehicle). Transmission Fluid level also seems fine. Both are good color. Any of this normal? Anyone know what the click is?

According to my mechanic, the most likely cause of this noise is a stuck lifter. However, it is also possible a valve seat or valve guide dropped and is floating in the head.

Instead of replacing lifters and having it turn out to be the valve seat, we are running some Rislone and possibly Marvels Mystery Oil to see if it will unstick the lifter.

If it is a more serious issue does anyone have an opinion on a time/cost effective solution? I've briefly looked into dropping reman heads on.
