I just slashed a strip out of a sheet for the middle bit, sorry don't have the dimensions, I'd guess it was around 100mm. The middle section on the jeep is mainly flat, there is a shaped bit near the centre of the sill, mine was ok to leave alone but if it wasn't I'd have just run flat all the way through, 2mm is an upgrade on the original thickness.
The outer is the only bit you can buy, I got it off Ebay.
My folded bits were a full 8' steel sheet long, I cut them down to fit as required.

For preserving fluids I use a combo of KL73 (oil based), Fluid Film (lanolin based) and CRC Marine Rust inhibitor (spray wax)

KL73 is applied with a air tool w tank and is the most "powerful" of the three as it creeps deep into all seems and the spray tool has tube attachments for fishing it into holes

Fluid Film is a black sticky coating that creeps a bit, I tend to use that in certain rust prone spots as well as screw and tool holes where mild rust is starting such as the holes the tail lights slot into

CRC dries to a relatively hard yellowish covering and can be used over the other products and I primarily use that for spray and impact areas, CRC does not creep into seams significantly compared to the other two

This is what it should look like, the 3 bits of steel make a very ridged section
You must be registered for see images attach

My folded section is 30mm x 70mm x 30mm

When you do the outer section make sure you allow for the step in at the rear to let the plastic arch trim sit in so it lines up with the rest of the trim.
Dear KJowner,

I’m back! Sorry for the delayed response, but we just finished restoring our Jeep. Your measurements were absolutely perfect! It was a bit tricky to find a metal place willing to do the dual bend here b/c of the gauge, many cars here are a lower gauge and they don’t have machines. But we found a place and had the piece custom made. We found a good welder and replaced the sill along with both inner and outer rockers and the job turned out great! We also had the whole Jeep repainted, and put new lights and a brand new #Mopar grille (found the last one). We even fixed it up mechanically (new engine 60k miles, driveshaft, etc.) so it’s good as new!

I truly appreciate your help as none of this could have been possible if we couldn’t fix the rockers. You helped bring back our Jeep!! Thank you so much :)

I even made an instagram to document all of this @polartheliberty

Hope you can check it out.
