03 renegade grille guard!HELP!

i went on good ol ebay and saw a wonderful grille guard that i wanted to purchase. but it said on the site that it doesnt fit renegades. so i emailed the guy and asked why it doesnt fit. he didnt know why. so, my question to you is.. WHY DOESNT IT FIT! all the grille guards i find say they dont fit. i dont see any difference in the bumpers or anything. so whats the deal? posted is a pic of my kj so u can investigate

the 05+ reneys have a different hood and grill. They are just covering themselves by saying it may not fit just in case. your front is just like any other pre 05+.

FWIW.......there is a way to mount tow hooks and also have a grill guard. Two of the guys I wheel with have 03 Renne's with grill guards and tow hooks mounted. They have both been strapped out of the mud so I know they work but I can't remember how they said they were mounted. So you could pm jeepdawg over on LOST and ask him.

If I remember, we have a run scheduled in April and I will see both of them and I will ask and take a real good look and post it back here if you want.
