I've been searching high and low for a solution and was hoping you guys could help since the dealership had no idea what I'm asking them.
Got a 2002 3.7liter 5 speed man trans 2WD. Had it for about a month now and all of a sudden the clutch starts acting kind of funny. The clutch normally grabbed when I released the pedal almost all the way out. I went to go take off in first and it immediately grabbed right at the floor. So I figured it wasn't disengaging all the way but it only does this in first. When I'm in second the clutch grabbed where it normally did. The grab zone on the pedal is almost moving around on me because I was at a light in 1st with the clutch in and all of a sudden the car starts to move and the pedal goes soft and I'm driving off, but then the pedal is normal again once I'm moving.
I decided to check the hydraulic fluid level, and come to find no spot to add, and from what I've gathered so far it's a sealed system and supposedly can't be bled. I couldn't find any leaks and the clutch isn't slipping. Any thoughts on this mess? Thanks.

I have no idea if this would do anything to the clutch itself, but when the master cylinder on mine got water in it I had trouble engaging gears--sometimes it would work like normal, other times it seemed like the clutch wasn't allowing it to come out of gear. Turns out Chrysler left a hole in the cover over the master cylinder that is perfect for allowing water to get in and fry things...might be worth at least considering, but then again, what do I know? =P
