So, 4hi shouldn't be used on wet or dry pavement? :eek:
Here in the Ozarks with all the winding roads & wet weather, I usually put it in 4hi to drive to and from work (15 miles each way) at about 60 mph. I don't run it like that on dry pavement. I haven't experienced any hub or differential...
Mine is the 2004 model. So, take out the torx screws then pull off grill. think I can manage that. I didn't know if jeep put any of those stupid plastic rivets on there like the fender flares.

I finally got around to washing out my engine compartment this week. I blew all the dust/dirt/mouse nests out first with a leaf blower and then hosed out the engine bay. Of course, since everything was wet, my belt was squeaking. I inspected it and found nothing wrong

I've known my KJ was quite capable of handling lots of the wheeling I do, I've just never committed to upgrading it for more wheeling. My wife & I take it exploring when we go on canoe float trips. Mud, hill climbs and trail obstacles are what I mostly get into...
