seeems like the liberty is prone to power steering hose leaking. at what point shouild it be erpalced??? if its just seepin a lil bit??
my 06 just had the same symptoms.....changed the sending unit and all is fine....i know this is an old thread lol just trowing out my eperience for future reference.
I am gettin ready to go on a 1500 mile road trip. is there anything on this beast that tends to crap out around 40k miles?? id rather change it now:D lol

you can get a cheap inline 6 db x over and wire it in the positive lead of each speaker. a 300 -350 mf 100 volt non polarised capacitor should do the trick.
very cheap and would get ya by til ya change setups.
the crossovers that come with components will not cover the low frequency high pass for the midbass driver.....but, yu could use the built in x over on the amp if yu have one and set it at 100 or 125 htz high pass. that would keep them from getting bass notes they cant handle.
actually all yu really need are 2 drivers. a tweeter and a midrange.
if yu dont like the TIN CAN effect lol ....i also would suggest a set of components instead. and choose a set with a soft dome tweeter.

the great thing...
a capacitor will make a diff and i use one.....i think a 1 farad should be a minimum. a bigger battery ground wire will also make a diff. wire yure main power wires to the cap and then use the cap for the distibution of power to the amps.
i use a 4 ga wire from my batt to the chassie.
