I agree with Chief Rudy, the over drive option should be left on all the time, except on the odd occassion. I too only turn the over drive off when I have driving down a steep winding hill. I have always condsidered turning over drive off like driving an automatic in third gear. Its ok at low...
Thanks again for this. I am unable to locate any problems with any wires, and it seems the BCM is to blame for all of the troubles I have been having. This is only speculative though, and a new BCM costs $876.00. Guess I will look for one in the wreck yard. Hopefully it wont be too expensive...

Okay, here is the situation that I have come across. The 2002 Liberty has started to act up. The rear wiper blade started to come on when ever the brake was applied. (No big deal, some problem with the wiring between the wiper motor, and the brake lights).
