KJ lift (jack) points?
Took mine to a "Big O" tire shop for a tire rotate - they used only one floor jack in back, stuck it right under the rear differential/pumpkin, and jacked the whole back end up on that. My understanding is this is a big NO NO. I used to do it on my old CJ Jeeps, but they were always the 3rd...- alljeep

Skid plates and Tow Hooks
It depends on their mood. My first order took 2.5 weeks. My second order took over 3 weeks. They only check their computer to process orders on Thursdays. If you order Thursday morning, they are not on vacation, are in a good mood, you could see it in a week.- alljeep

Total destruction of a Jeep
If it can take that kind of a beating it should not have been failed by an inspection as the caption wording stated. They could have sold the engine/drivetrain for way more than scrap value.... :-({|=- alljeep

Bug Deflector Question

On the hunt for another CJ-6.
notice on my old green jeep the side panel seams... The CJ6 has the extra panel between the rear wheel well and the old gas filler neck on the Willys and the punch in area on the newer green jeep cj6... approx an extra 20" of length over a CJ5... very rare, but the modern Unlimited Wrangler...- alljeep

Scorched KJ!
They didn't explode, maybe, but look closer at the first set of pictures of the back of the KJ. The gas tank is gone since it's only HDPE. It melted and dumped it's fuel. Only thing left are a couple of straps that hold the HDPE tank up.- alljeep

On the hunt for another CJ-6.
I used to own this burgandy 1962 Willys Jeep CJ-6 AND this 1974 AMC Jeep CJ-6 at the same time and now I have none. Anyone have a line on a nice one? I don't want to restore one, just drive it. So, somewhere in between a full resto and a rust bucket would be perfect.- alljeep

Diff Fluid Change
Not only that, but if you have a CRD, the user manual states mandatory changes at 12,000 mile intervals! My question is, what has changed over the past few years to make a manufacturer go to this extreme? Used to be 30k to 50k and your good!- alljeep
