I've found the best lubricant for this problem to be Lithium Grease in a Spray Can - spray where the spring contacts the spacer and the inside of the spacer between the spacer's centre and where the strut goes through the middle of it.

Do you want to ask them when they are going to release a decent set of front springs for a CRD while you are at it? I'm sure this is the second most sought after answer from ARB!

WD40 doesn't eat rubber or plastics except Polycarbonate and Polystyrene (which aren't used in the engine bay or suspension of your jeep).
