you should not replace torque converter with used one, it’s a big job that is one of the recommended parts to replace doing transmission overhaul. if your pulling the transmission out to do this job, you might think about finding a good used transmission to replace that one.

The way my front tires are worn tells me there is coil sag, so I would hope to go back closer to when new I'm sure I can get that but not sure about buying medium or heavier springs

On mine lower, and upper ball joint seals were torn, could have continued to go longer but they were on the way to failure, also tie rod ends, I'm in the process of replacing them all. I don't have the diesel engine so really can say anything about them.
