    no it's definitely a rubbing noise - it rubs - stops - rubs- stops like its rotational - thats why it is hard to identify

    i have a 2002 liberty. when backing up i get an almost rubbing noise- appears to come from the rear. it makes the noise, stops and repeats as tho happening during the revolution of the wheel or? additionally when going over speed bumps in the road, the front suspension makes a "bungie" noise...
