    HIDs?

If your Jeep is around that long... High Intensity Discharge lights will, for the most part, out last the actual vehicle. Remember, there is no filament on HIDs to 'burn out'. Rather, xenon gas is activated with the ballast/igniter. As they say, HID's are lights that are turned on, they are...

Taking off Letters and Fog Lights

My entire Jeep is badgeless. Use a blowdryer to heat them up. Then use thread or fishing line to peel them away. Use goo-gone to get rid of the residual crap.

    Little Bitty Accidente......(pics)

Wow. The important thing is you're ok. I must say, I love driving the Merritt. Not so much in an SUV, but definitely in my cars. Love those twisties. Ironically, despite having such a great road to drive on, IMO CT is full of the worst drivers in the union (Mass-holes are a close...

    HIDs?

I've passed the stringent NYS inspection 3 years in a row with HIDs. I have the CATZ bi-xenon HID kit which includes a module that moves a sleeve around the HID bulb facilitating a "high-beam" function. Most of these retrofit kits don't have this high beam functionality. I had one of those...

Where have all the Maniks gone?

Maniks, Polar Bear, WAAG, etc. are all over-priced. Just go to ebay & look for brush guards made by Dealsofsteel.com They make great grill/brush guards. And cheap.

    SFA KJ: DONE!!!....almost

$10K?! Ouch. I guess a few years ago, that might have sounded reasonable for me... at least on the car I was modding (I prolly spent more than that on it). However, nowadays that sounds a bit extreme - especially for a vehicle thats going to be beaten on over rocks. But I guess thats what...

Were any of you guys over at Spruce Run Park this weekend?

Out in NJ? Me & a few buddies spend a couple of nights out there doing some car camping. BBQ'ed, had a few brews (don't tell the rangers), and smoked some cigars. Saw a nicely outfitted KJ - chrome accents (taillight guards) & grill, and dual exhaust.... not sure what else... I think...

    JBA Headers for Liberty

I did a search for headers on your site, and got this.... Exhaust & Headers> Headers> JEEP> 2003> LIBERTY> 3.7l> Please Select From The Following: Page cannot be found. If you have reached the page from an outside link please use the site navigation located on the left hand...

    JBA Headers for Liberty

Back order? Sounds fishy. We're arguably the enthusiasts for these products. We'de be the ones to buy them first. Kind of wierd that - on a site of just KJ enthusiasts - no one has this. I'd double check with the manufacturer if they even started to produce these. Larger items like this...

HID 9007 Head Light Set Group Buy

Actually, you probably wouldn't. Auxiliary driving lights are usually angled in such a way as to 'help' main beams. Converting them to HID would blind oncoming traffic. And fogs shouldn't be pure white - as HID's are. Second;y they really shouln't be too bright. Lights that are too bright...

HID 9007 Head Light Set Group Buy

Bennett, Quick question... Which part of the kit is Hella and/or Catz? I see the kit is branded as HIDynamic, but is there anyway you can find out what part of the kit is Halla and/or Catz? I'm mostly concerned with the ballast & igniter.

HID 9007 Head Light Set Group Buy

Re: Good news Most aftermarket fogs & aux driving lights are H3's... That means, Bennett, you can light up the night with ease. I MAY be in for a set for the 9005's (fogs). I gotta clear it with the warden/veto committee. Incidently, what is the size of the stock fogs?

HID 9007 Head Light Set Group Buy

Hey Bennett... I'd be interested in it as well... IF I can get a kit for a different bulb size. I need an H4 kit. Do you think they'll let it slide for that price as well?

HID 9007 Head Light Set Group Buy

I'll try to get some road shots tonight. But here are a few I took last night. Sorry I didn't post earlier (fell asleep early last night)... Taken in a driveway under a street lamp, but with no flash. I just ignited them so its not at 100% brightness yet. ALSO - remember, my headlights...

HID 9007 Head Light Set Group Buy

Actually, I don't need them either since I've got the lights up top. And to be perfectly honest with you, the "high" beam isn't very pronounced when you engage it (its obvious, but not overtly). HOWEVER, the reason why I like having it is because I live in NYS & we have annual inspections of...

HID 9007 Head Light Set Group Buy

Peice of cake. I did it in less than an hour - and that was at night with just my tools & a flashlight. I coulda done it in half the time if I had daylight or more light in the garage. If you want, I can give you a hand with the install since you're in the hood. I've done this enough...

This is the kit I have: For a good primer on which color gives the most light out put go here: http://www.brightheadlights-hid.com/Xenon-HID-Catz-Lights-Kits.htm The rising white 4300K (version I have) has the highest light output of the two offered for the 9007 bulb size. The added...
