    Best OBDII Scanner for CRD?

    My Foxwell scanner shows very little data and is basically worthless. My Ancel FX3000 shows a lot more info and allows cycling of the abs module to bleed the brakes, but still doesn't do everything.

    Soundproofing

    I put some self adhesive high density foam with a foil facing on the firewall and under the carpet and under the hood in a couple of trucks and it made a big difference. It was some no name brand on ebay.

    2006 KJ CRD Cherokee (Liberty In US)

    Check you shift linkage at the transfer case. Mine had a broken fitting and had come off. The dealer couldn't find the part number in the KJ files, but found one from a TJ that worked.

    2006 Liberty Front End Howl - Not a wheel bearing

    I had similar noises from my front end and no play in the CV joints. Replaced the half axles anyway and that fixed it. I also notice that there are some small heat shield between the lower ball joint and the rotor, that if dislodge could rub on the rotor.
