I need some help guys before I start spending money. For a few days the only way to start my 2005 Jeep Liberty 3.7 Liter V6 4WD was to pop the hood, and grab the serpentine belt and turn it until I heard click click click, but now no matter how many times I crank it it gives this weird whining...

Thanks for the response. Today it only did it once. Much better than other days. But I still want to fix it. I appreciate the suggestion. ;)

It's more like after a 10-15 min drive, shutting it off, then trying to start again it will turn over but give me trouble firing up. Thanks for the reply tho I'm definitely going to look into all the things everyone are suggesting.
