    Mikey Thompson Baja STZ

I'm looking at new tires for the girl and wonder about MT Baja STZ's more specifically how the ride quality is (IE. ride comfort and sound) as well durability, which is the most important thing to me. I'd also love some other recommendations besides duratracts, BFG KO2s and general grabbers...

Pulling a hood from a Pick 'N Save

Shoot for $90 that ain't too bad. Reckon I'll be switching to leather seats given they still there. Knowing my luck though the only thing gone from it would be the hood lol

Pulling a hood from a Pick 'N Save

Is there any way to repair the damage to driver seat on the leather seats? The leather has worn in places so bad it's ripped. The passenger and bench seats are nearly perfect though based on the pictures at least.

Pulling a hood from a Pick 'N Save

As long as the hood is there and is still in good condition that's all I'm worried about lol. The jeep I'm going to pick apart is in good shape bodywise and is the same color as mine. I lucked out big time.

Pulling a hood from a Pick 'N Save

The driver seat is in really rough condition plus I was never a big fan of the leather seats in my mom's 05' limited lol

Pulling a hood from a Pick 'N Save

Next weekI'll be pulling a hood from an 02' kj limited to replace the hood on mine due to the nasty dent and subsequent rust damage on my current hood from the PO; and was wondering what other parts y'all recommend I pull. I plan to grab the head lights, fog lights, blinkers, tail lights...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Washed her then took her to work. With how hot it was I had to use the A/C. Normally I'm a all windows down and sunroof open type of guy lol.

Building a shopping list for a 3 inch lift

I'll probably be going with the Platinum, or the very least the gold kits. What's really relieving for me is most everything I'm wanting is on his site as well. Like the bumper. RRO had it but their site is a little on the non user friendly side lol. Well thanks Tom. You definitely know your...

Building a shopping list for a 3 inch lift

I'll probably do that then, as well as a couple other goodies from his site. Still going to need the pucks for the back with a JBA kit?

    Introduction

Hello all I'm LazyPear, growing up my mom has owned jeep on and off her last being an 05' liberty limited. My dad was more of a truck person. But still having a 89 XJ. So growing up around Jeep's has given me a love for Jeep's since childhood. Recently (2 1/2 months ago) my wife and I bought...

Building a shopping list for a 3 inch lift

Ok now while looking around the JBA website he does seem full lift kits. What would I expect in durability and performance by buying say his platinum or gold kits versus building my own "kit" also would JBA struts and Control arms be a wise investment?

Building a shopping list for a 3 inch lift

Ok, so if I'm following you correctly, with each incease of the tire sizes the power loss and fuel efficiency loss gets greater making the need of a regearing of the gear ratio much more necessary. So if I stick with 245 70 16 instead of 235 70 16 the losses would be smaller in comparison to if...

Building a shopping list for a 3 inch lift

Ok, I imagine the power and efficiency loss is barely noticeable since your saying to stick with 16"

Building a shopping list for a 3 inch lift

Top plate can be found on JBA, like is it a specialty thing or is it simply a 1/2 steel plate mounted on it for extra lift. So going to 17" rims and a larger tire size isn't recommended? I was hoping to go up a size like that for winter when it does snow, and for off roading every now and then.
