WE are buying the replacement engine with 79k. It has a 1 year parts and labor warranty. I really appreciate the advice. You guys are awesome! John

That is the problem living in the rust belt. I was thinking of using a disc cutting that lip, pull it back, grind,treat the rust then tap it back in place with a leather hammer. I would like to slow it down as much as possible.

Thanks for the heads up Tom. I have never had the steering wheel shake alone, usually the whole car vibrates. We had what we thought was the death wobble on our 99 XJ, turned out to be a tire issue only. A set of 4 new tires solved it Ohio is hard on our cars for sure.
