Im coming from the VW 2.0 world so anything 1qt in 1K miles is normal to me. I have a 2016 dart with 7900 miles on it now and when i check the oil and none is missing it seems strange. LOL!

Well it seems like you are still on the road since you started this topic, so are you still using as much oil, no less or more? How many miles have you put on since you first discovered the oil issue?

Also what is strange the plugs that look like they might have been in there for 70k miles showed no signs of oil consumption, nor does the tail pipe. How bizarre.

i think im going to be on track for a qt of oil in 700 miles. Thats tragic. No smoke on start ups, no leaks at all, i just replaced the PCV and it seems thats not helping.

Will that make the CEL come on? Because if so I can't get it inspected

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but how did this end? I have a new to me 2003 with the same motor and it seems to have burned about 1/4 qt of oil in 150 miles, that would mean I'm on track to burn a qt in 600 miles. No smoke or leaks. I just popped in a new pcv valve. The OEM one with...
