Put dielectric on the plug's ceramic and in the boot.

I had a random misfire situation after pulling the plugs on my 2012 liberty. The plugs had a carbon line on the ceramic. I finally realized that when replacing the plugs, use a dielectric gel on the ceramic and inside the plug boot. The problem no longer exists.

I had a similar problem. After changing plugs, the fault moved cylinders, I somehow realized the plugs were good but arcing up the ceramic body, The solution was to put dielectric on the ceramic to stop the arcing. Haven't had a problem since.

I had the same situation on our 2013 LIBERTY. Tried many time to resolve with no success. Check engine light and gascap warning returned every time. Finally, the battery was draining overnight, worked it out after a week. The positive top post connector was corroded and so I replaced it. Oddly...
