Transmission problems 03 liberty
Someone mentioned something to me about it just being a solenoid. Could it just be that? I didn't think it would act this way from that. Any ideas?- spechtrevent

I did some checking on the jeep and here is what I found, • rear end has slight leak but not the problem • transfer case shifts smooth through all gears and car rolls freely in neutral • transmission • P - in gear, car wont move • R - engine revs freely and a faint grinding noise...- spechtrevent

It is 4wd. I'll check and see if and when it rolls freely and when it doesn't.- spechtrevent

I was driving on the freeway and all of the sudden the jeep jerked really bad, so I start to get off and it locks up like I put it in park. Now when I shift into drive, neutral, or reverse it feels like it is shifting and it will rock the jeep a little like its in gear, but will not go anywhere...- spechtrevent
